With Tasmanian Kunzea, Peppermint, Native Pepper, Eucalyptus (Blue Gum), Coastal Tea Tree, and magnesium to superpower your recovery. Specially formulated to use pre and post exercise, so you can spend less time wallowing in self-pity, and more time doing the things you love.

Named after one of our favourite destinations for climbing, running and just chilling on the beach, Killiecranking Recovery Cream has been specially formulated to sooth sore joints and muscles (pre and post exercise) so you can get out on the trail, road, ocean, mountain, or crag, as quickly as possible.

Massage into affected areas. Use as required. External use only. If irritation occurs discontinue use. Avoid contact with eyes. Best used within three months of opening.

Kunzea Oil – Sourced from spectacular Flinders Island where the towering granite of Mt Killiecrankie is located and the inspiration for the name of this product. Kunzea essential oil has also been used to assist in providing temporary relief of the pain of arthritis, rheumatism, muscular aches and pains, insect bites and insect bite inflammation, and cold and flu symptoms.

Tasmanian Native Pepper Extract – This ancient plant has an incredible growing range from the wet forest to the alpine plateaus, and is well known for it’s use in cooking, what’s emerging from recent studies (link) is that it has range of antibacterial qualities. And if you’ve ever had a much on a leaf just count to 5 and your tongue is numb with a very wasabi/pepper/mint like flavour!

This iconic Tasmanian native plant possesses an aroma reminiscent of the bush, dry paperbark and herbs. Fresh, spicy and uplifting, its unique pungent aroma is thanks to its active polygodial component.

Eucalyptus Blue Gum Oil – Tassie’s floral emblem the mighty blue gum with it’s waxy blue green leave and large round/squared single flower nuts. On a hot summer’s day this dominates the bushland aromas. Known for it’s cooling effect, scent, anti-bacterial qualities and can ease muscle and joint aches. And probably more importantly a key food source for the Endangered Swift Parrot.

Peppermint Oil – This ain no ordinary peppermint oil, it’s sourced from the some of the world’s best stock in Cressy in central Tasmania and well known for it’s unique dual warming and cooling effects.

Hemp Seed Oil – Sourced from a local farm in Tasmania the oil is high in omega acids 3, 6 and 9—all of which help strengthen the skin barrier and form a seal over the skin to keep moisture trapped inside without clogging the pores. The omega-6 fatty acid also contains gamma-linolenic acid, which acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory while simultaneously encouraging skin growth and new cell generation.

Coastal Tea Tree Oil – Coastal Tea Tree is a unique variety of the myrtle family Leptospermum. Although it isn’t as widely known as its Leptospermum cousins such as Manuka and Lemon Tea Tree.

Our Coastal Tea Tree is sourced Tasmania’s Flinders Island. The leaves and branchlets of this tall bushy shrub are steam-distilled, producing a pure oil that boasts a sweet earthy scent with light woody and citrus tones. The oil contains compounds which have a range of beneficial properties including anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-viral.

Magnesium Chloride – We’ve loaded in some Magnesium salts into the cream so that they can be absorbed through the skin while your rubbing those tight quads. The known benefits of magnesium chloride include reduced muscle aches, pains, cramping and spasms and improved sleep.
